FEATURES
Four agents. One closed loop. The shelf-to-PO execution your reps can’t hit every week.
The agents read the shelf, decide what’s missing, route the order, and write the weekly summary — the work that fills the gap between an OOS photo and the restock that follows it. Below is what each one does, the SLA it ships at, and what you see by Monday morning.
The loop
Snap. Analyze. Restock. The same loop, on every store visit.
The four agents on this page are not four dashboards — they are one workflow. Each piece of shelf work the platform performs closes a piece of the same loop, and the output of one (an OOS) becomes the input of the next (the PO). The result is the same closed-loop retail execution team you’d build if you had a regional rep in every account every week.
01 / OOS-to-PO
An out-of-stock becomes a draft PO before the rep leaves the aisle.
Reads facings, pricing strip, and case codes against the master planogram and your SKU→retailer price file. When a SKU is out of stock, Shelftide sizes a draft PO from the same SKU’s velocity at the closest comparable store in the cluster, and routes it to the DSD, wholesale, or bottler partner you’ve configured for that retailer.
PO drafted from comparable cluster velocity, not guesses.
Auto-issues below your approval threshold; routes to the named buyer above it.
Same-day placement via the configured partner; email/EDI fallback for the rest.
SLA: shelf photo → filed PO in under thirty minutes.
02 / MAP enforcement
Pricing strip is read on every visit, not prayed for once a month.
Every photo captures the price strip against the SKU→retailer price file. A drift is flagged before sell-through erodes, and the platform opens one of two paths: a buyer-review queue against the retailer-side escalation playbook, or a restock PO that bypasses the off-strategy SKU path. Your call through the MAP playbook.
Continuous compliance read on every shelf read, not a quarterly walk.
Retailer-side escalation or restock-bypass routing, configured per playbook.
Promo windows protected — the price-down spiral cuts off within 72 hours.
SLA: MAP drift → closed correction or queued escalation within the same business day.
03 / Planogram
Planogram compliance is scored every week, not walked once a quarter.
Facings, topstock, and case codes are compared against the master planogram each visit. Deviations get a +/– score that lands in the named category manager’s inbox on Monday, before the WBR. Multi-brand or shared sets are handled per brand, not per region, so the roll-up reflects the right shelf.
Per-store deviation score from cutoff, facing count, and case-code matches.
Bubble-up alerts to the category manager and the regional merchandiser.
Roll-up cut by retailer, store cluster, and promo window — same as the WBR.
SLA: weekly deviation feed in the named category manager’s inbox before the WBR.
04 / WBR & QBR
A weekly and quarterly report, with the same dashboard, sized to the meeting.
Weekly summary lands at 06:00 the morning of your WBR — SKU performance by retailer, store cluster, and promo window. The QBR is the same dashboard, scaled to the promo window and retailer cut you ask for. Both replace the end-of-week rep deck, not the people who used to build it.
WBR cut: SKU × retailer × cluster × promo window — what got done, what didn’t.
QBR cut: same fields, scaled across the promo window or quarter.
Owner-aligned routing: store, region, and category managers get the relevant cuts.
SLA: weekly summary sent 06:00 local the morning of your WBR.
How it fits the loop
The same workflow, on every store visit.
The four agents above are one workflow. Three steps, every store visit, every week.
- 01
Snap
A rep or merchandiser shoots the shelf on the phone they already carry.
- 02
Analyze
Facings, pricing, and case codes are read against the planogram. OOS, MAP drift, and planogram deviation are flagged in the same pass.
- 03
Restock
A draft PO is sized from comparable cluster velocity and routed to the configured DSD, wholesale, or bottler partner. Same-day placement below your approval threshold.
FAQ
Four questions a brand manager will raise on a cold visit.
These are the questions that come up before the demo — short, direct, and on the shelf.
Is this a rep-replacement tool or a rep-augmentation tool?
Augmentation. Shelftide runs on the phone the rep or merchandiser already carries, on the visit they’re already making. The capture is one tap; the order escalation, the promo reset, the buyer relationship stay with the human. The platform closes the gap between an OOS photo and the restock that follows it.
Do I need a new device, a new SKU typing flow, or a new dashboard?
No on all three. Capture runs on the existing handset. There is no SKU typing — facings, pricing, and case codes are read off the photo. The dashboard the rep looks at is the same one the category manager spends Monday morning in.
Which distribution partners does the closed loop place orders with?
KeHE, UNFI, McLane, Coca-Cola bottlers, Core-Mark, and major regional DSDs, via API. If your footprint lives on a partner without an integration, we ship an email/EDI fallback so the order still goes out the same day.
Can we keep a human review on every PO?
Yes — set an approval threshold per retailer or per buyer. Below the threshold, Shelftide auto-issues the PO. Above it, the order routes to the named buyer for a one-tap approve before it commits.
Want a 30‑day pilot first?
Walk a real territory with it for thirty days.
We’ll run a shelf-to-PO pilot on a single region of your footprint — usually a hundred stores, one distribution partner, one promo window. You see what closes the loop and what doesn’t, before a single regional rep’s workflow changes.

We respond within one business day. No SDR rotation — you walk through your territory plan with someone who can scope the pilot on the spot.
